About Allison Todd, RMT
Allison Todd is a proud graduate of the Georgian College Massage Therapy program. She graduated with honors in April of 2014 from the three year program and passed both her registration exams successfully. She is now an RMT at the Lakeside Clinic for Integrated Medicine! Allison has participated in over two years of clinical experience at the college working with the public to treat soft tissue, joint and fluid impairments. She has also worked with special populations during outreaches including sports, pregnancy, fibromyalgia, complex care, geriatrics and oncology. During her outreaches she worked at both the Bob Rumball Home for the Deaf and the RVH (Royal Victoria Hospital) in the Oncology Unit.
Allison grew up in Barrie but spent most of her time as a child at the family cottage in Parry Sound, Ontario. She became interested in alternative medicine when her father had a heart attack in 2004 and perused a natural route of healing with help from the naturopathic field and stress relieving methods, such as Massage Therapy. She always strives to perform the highest standard of treatment for each individual she treats and is excited to continue her education further. She would love to progress into reflexology and incorporate personal fitness into her career.
